19/52 Milktea? Dimsum Break?

Everybody feels the burning summer heat, Last summer wave for the month of May I guess. Seeing this poster outside One mango mall in Mango ave. gave a enthusiastic relief of  happiness inside the kiddo's heart (Your writer is the kid :D) 

Milk tea? for 45? That's sharp and Cheap. After my mom and tita left to go somewhere, I headed inside to check it out. Not reading the bottom part of the poster I was surprised that the milk tea is sold from Dimsum break. Dimsum break, an authentic and popular Chinese dinning in Cebu city. I love their Steamed rice, Fried spring rolls and chicken feet. My mom loves to eat at Dimsum it's cheap she says and  considering the fact that she  first learned using Chopsticks in Dimsum Break from her good teacher (THAT'S MEEEE :D)

This one's good but not that very very very good, I wish they added more milk cause for me I could really taste the strong tea flavor, But Overall It's worth good and worth 45 for real :D They offer two actually, Milk tea with pearl balls and Milk tea with Nata de Coco. I had the pearl balls. The kid is satisfied, heat relieved. Hooo.

I spotted one Milk tea stand in 138 mall before, The milk tea cost 10, 20, 30, with black sago. That was too sweet for me actually but it was alright understanding the price of the product I could really see the difference.

There are a lot of Milk tea shops in Cebu like Cobo, Tea and symphony, Bon appetea, Bubble bee tea house. And I'll try some soon as school comes back, Money goes in :D Soon people. I'll share more about these cooling teas. 

I like milk itself, I like tea itself but. But the combo hits a good one :D

18/52 Yogurt info

I'll share some tech info's about YOGURT, It's one of my favorite snack. Compared eating some ice creams, or donuts, yogurt is better :) 

Yesterday I was at the grocery to buy some food stuffs, I passed by the cold drinks area and grabbed yogurt for some cool good snack. Went home and ate my yo :)

Yogurt is good because it's easier to digest than milk, Yogurt can boost immunity,( it's good not just for adults but also for kids ☺) Yogurt is rich in Calcium ( Good for your bones ). Yogurt is a good source of protein 

Yogurt is just too good to resist and forget, Lactose Intolerant? You can just get yogurt :) Some people get this especially those who can't digest the natural sugar in milk, Yogurt digest easily because of those healthy bacteria in it. But the best thing about yogurt is that, it has live active cultures that makes your tummy just so OHH HAPPY :)  Yogurt also keep your heart healthy by lowering your blood pressure and fight some infections. I need this because it can help me loose some weight. 

It has at least 1.25 bilion live microorganism

Yogurt is yummy and good, It help you in it's own little way. Just one cup everyday and that's enough :) 

Consume before the date!!

What's good about Nestle, They already developed different flavors of yogurts available in the market. They also have these Jelly+yogurt cup and I already tasted it before, It's a good combo, :) 

I'm a fan of Fruit yogurts and yogurt drinks but I'm not just into froyo's or Frozen yogurts, I already featured one before from Red Mango in Ayala. Froyo's seems to boom out at the food industry of Cebu racing with Milk teas. Froyo's are simple and good but not the kind of food that i'll be looking forward that I could really eat everyday. I'm contented by the sweet cool taste of it, It's enough for a person like me :) 

I want some more :'(

17/52 IT'S MOTHERS DAY! HORAAAY :)

Days are running so fast, and it's almost mid of May. I enjoyed my vacation making some baked stuffs for people, and going out with some old friends. I'm a home buddy now and it makes me sick :( 

13th of May every year, we celebrate Mother's day. It's one day, special one to just remember the woman who gave birth to us. They are awesome, they will love you no matter what happen. They will give every little thing that you need, They're just there, They will never change :)  

I got an order from a friend, she ordered some personalized Mother's day cupcakes for her biological mom and her Tita whom she treat like a mother too :)

 Dark moist chocolate cupcakes with special Mother's day touch for her :) 

Ahooooooo <3

Mom and I bakes together, it's one of our mom-daughter bonding. We can do it when she's not busy. I learn from her, Before when she bakes I used to get the mixing bowl and scrape the sides to get some of the uncooked batter :) Back when I was still a kid.

On Sunday I'll be making some for my Mom, Lola and Tita too. They are just the best. I love you MOM :)

Just in the area, one mango ave. Gen maxilom, the pretty girl's beach inspired pub could found. Popeye's Grill house offers a lot of amenities like KTV, Billiards and Beer pong. Go dancing with the beats of Reggae and rhythm of RNB. One place to get fun running with your friends. 

The interior was unusual for a pub found in a stressful busy area like Mango ave, we heard about some bars and pubs which had their modern designs love by their patrons. The Bahay kubo set-up in the place gets people to relax like a boss while having some bbq and beer.

Popeye's grill also has its own parking area so their costumers won't have any problem looking for one. The outdoor seating is good for people who don't feel the dancing inside a closed door party hall bar. 

Last January 6, 2012 Popeye's grill house had its jerk-off challenge, the first ever Jamaican jerk chicken wings eating contest.

15/52 Place for yourself at Cofifi

 The first time I heard the name of this coffee shop I was intrigue and amazed at the same time. One of the cutest names I've heard, Cofifi  <3 owned by Tiffany Rosito Ong Yiu 

Place outside :)

Cofifi had its second anniversary last march. As we entered Cofifi with Georgan and her taekwondo coach Richard, I felt the cozy ambiance of the place, The place was right enough for people who forms study groups, people who wants to chill and waste their time, Meeting up your crazy barkada's and one place to have one cheap cup of coffee. Yea, Cofifi cafe offers different kinds of Espressos; Ice blended drinks, Teas and breakfast in very reasonable price. Compared to other well known coffee shops that had stand on their own grounds for several years ( eg. Starbucks, Bo's, UCC,) my pocket won't run out in here :) 

There were only seven people plus the three of us when we arrived at around 5pm, two groups were studying so we need to make our voice low not to disturb them, and others were just hanging alone enjoying the free WiFi usage of the cafe. I enjoyed the WiFi too, they have a good connection and that's awesoooome :)

They really inserted an effort in their interior, The cute lighting braced people having light smiles on their faces, Air-conditioned place, The comfty chairs with pillows, high chairs if you are alone and don't wanna sit in the mid of people plus the table where you could lay down all your study materials and to mention the good service they offer. They also have these bar type set-up of their high chairs near the prep area where you could watch the crew preparing the coffee of others as you enjoy sipping your coffee. Ms. Tiffany, GREAT INTERIOR :)
